According to the assessment of many veteran writers, recent works, theoretical research and literary criticism have lost their appeal and are lacking compared to many other genres.

Organizing the Creative Camp is very meaningful in the current period. In addition to professional exchanges, artists will go on field trips and visit the Naval Academy, Naval Region 4, historical and cultural relics in Nha Trang city... to have more creative materials.

The creative camp is an activity of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to concretize the policies of the Party and State on the development of literature and arts in the new period and the conclusion of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference on November 24, 2021.

This is also the first program to concretize the Project "Improving creative capacity, literary theory and criticism for the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to Mr. Ho An Phong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, cultural issues have never been as concerned as they are today. The Party and the State have affirmed that developing literature and arts is one of the key tasks. Organizing the creative camp is a concrete demonstration that the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector is actively implementing the viewpoints and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the National Party Congress.
