SJC gold hits all-time high of 75.62 million VND/tael
Domestic gold continues to increase strongly, SJC gold peaks at 75.62 million VND/tael, world gold slightly decreases.
Survey at 5:00 a.m. on December 21, gold prices on the trading floors of some companies are as follows:
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 74.50 million VND/tael for buying and 75.50 million VND/tael for selling.

At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 74.60 - 75.30 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 74.50 - 75.48 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 74.50 - 75.70 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
Japanese Yen exchange rate suddenly increased
Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of December 21 at banks is as follows:
At Vietcombank, the buying rate is 164.44 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 174.07 VND/JPY, up 0.45 VND for buying and 0.47 VND for selling. At Vietinbank, the Yen rate increased by 2.17 VND for buying and 0.42 VND for selling, equivalent to 166.22 VND/JPY and 174.17 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the Japanese Yen rate increased by 0.72 VND for buying and 0.74 VND for selling, reaching 157.48 VND/JPY and 165.75 VND/JPY, respectively. At Agribank , the buying and selling rates are 158.80 VND/JPY and 163.74 VND/JPY, up 0.45 VND for buying and 0.48 VND for selling, respectively.
At Eximbank, the buying rate increased by 0.89 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.92 VND, respectively, to 167.01 VND/JPY and 171.66 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 1.12 VND and the selling rate increased by 1.18 VND, respectively, to 162.92 VND/JPY and 173.91 VND/JPY. At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 1.12 VND and the selling rate increased by 1.13 VND, respectively, to 167.04 VND/JPY and 173.58 VND/JPY.
According to the survey, today Sacombank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and Agribank is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the banks.
Domestic coffee prices increase "skyrocketingly"
Domestic coffee prices were updated at 5:12 a.m. on December 21, increasing "skyrocketingly", almost reaching the "golden" mark of 70,000 VND/kg. Currently, the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is about 69,400 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces is 69,600 VND/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is quite high at 69,500 VND/kg; In Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 69,600 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, is purchased at 68,900 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak province, coffee was purchased at the highest price; in Cu M'gar district, it was purchased at 69,500 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it was purchased at the same price of 69,600 VND/kg.
Market rice prices turn down
Rice prices today in the Mekong Delta region have not fluctuated compared to yesterday.
Accordingly, in localities such as Tien Giang, Dong Thap, An Giang, rice prices remain stable in both market rice channels and export channels.
At retail markets, today, some types of rice have been adjusted down. Accordingly, the price of regular rice fluctuates around 15,000 - 16,500 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice is 17,000 - 18,500 VND/kg, down 500 VND/kg.

In the rice market, the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province shows that the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice remains stable at 9,500 - 9,600 VND/kg; IR 504 rice fluctuates around 8,900 - 9,100 VND/kg; OM 18 rice fluctuates around 9,500 - 9,600 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice remains around 9,400 - 9,600 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is stable at 9,400 - 9,500 VND/kg; OM 380 rice fluctuates around 8,600 - 8,800 VND/kg.
Regarding sticky rice, dried An Giang sticky rice is stable at around 9,400 - 9,800 VND/kg; dried Long An sticky rice is at 9,400 - 9,800 VND/kg.
For by-products today, the trend continues to move sideways. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice remains at 11,700-11,800 VND/kg and dry bran is stable around 6,600-6,700 VND/kg.
In the rice market, the price of Winter-Spring rice continues to be high. Enterprises and traders mainly buy rice that has been deposited, with few new transactions. The Autumn-Winter rice market is stable, with limited supply.
In the rice market, the supply of rice is low, buying and selling is sporadic, mainly at market rice warehouses asking to buy. Factories offer little due to lack of supply.
In the export market, Vietnam's rice export price was adjusted up by 5 USD/ton. Accordingly, Vietnam's 5% broken rice was also adjusted up slightly by 5 USD/ton, to 663 USD/ton after decreasing last week. The prices of 25% broken rice and 100% broken rice remained stable.
