The highlight of this collection is the motif inspired by Bat Trang pottery of Vietnam. However, this detail still does not exude a sense of difference and creativity. Along with the complicated movement of the models, the show still has some shortcomings.

Besides silk, recycled materials have become a characteristic in each collection by designer Adrian Anh Tuan. Sparkling embellishments, denim materials, and turban scarves brought a youthful, modern breath to the show. Some of the collection's outstanding details are floral lace or gingham stripes, tropical motifs such as fruits, flowers, etc., suitable for summer.

Promoting the strength of patterns through each collection, Adrian Anh Tuan put on designs inspired by Bat Trang ceramics. Although combined in the direction of the brand's logomania, this pattern is still not capable enough to become the highlight of the entire collection. The ceramic inspiration was expressed by the male designer in the collection It's a man's world in 2017.

In addition, the ceramic motifs in the Thong Dong collection somewhat remind viewers of the "best-selling" designs in the Blu Mediterraneo collection of the Dolce&Gabbana brand - inspired by ceramics and launched in mid-2022.

At Thong Dong , the audience can easily see the typical shapes in Adrian Anh Tuan's previous summer collections. Typically, the maxi dress design, the wide flared shape, the long flowing skirt of Daydreamer , or the flowing cape, highlighted by the twisted waist skirt that appeared in the Lang Du collection.

In conclusion, the Thong Dong collection has some unique features with new patterns and lace flowers. However, some of the designs still have the shadow of previous collections. In addition, the Bat Trang ceramic highlight is not creative enough to stand out in the overall collection.

The difference between first-face and vedette

Taking the first-face position, Huong Giang wore an outfit that was considered to represent the theme of the collection. In a sexy and flowing design with ceramic motifs, the beauty had many advantages in the performance. The appearance of the outfit was like a gentle breeze under the scorching summer sun, contrasting with the sparkling, bold design of the closing curtain.

However, the strong hip thrusts and exaggerated steps of the first-face did not exude charm, even causing the shoulders to sway quite a bit. Along with the less-than-smooth handling of the sleeves, Huong Giang's performance still did not clearly show the spirit of this outfit. However, with a starting point not being a professional model, she completed the role of first-face relatively completely to the applause of the audience.

In the Thong Dong collection, the designs exude the free spirit of summer, combined with the romantic, poetic features typical of designer Adrian Anh Tuan. However, the collection has not yet created a distinct, creative mark compared to previous works.

Notably, the runway layout was impressive when it created a heart shape, expressing the romantic spirit of the designer, in the final greeting of all the models. However, the runway lines of the models were quite winding, creating a confusing feeling for the viewers.
