On June 24, Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province - said that through the announcement publicly posted on the provincial electronic information portal, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has received proposals from a number of businesses registering to pilot commercial housing projects, including the project of Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited on the land that the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province decided to lease to Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited since 2005.
Mr. Quang said that the announcement of approval for real estate business organizations to implement the above pilot project is only the first step in terms of policy. In the next phase, businesses must carry out investment, construction, land and related procedures for competent authorities to appraise in accordance with regulations and legal procedures.
According to Mr. Quang, on April 14, Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited submitted a registration to implement a pilot project according to Resolution 171 to the Khanh Hoa Department of Agriculture and Environment.
In the registration form, the organization proposing to implement the project is Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited, the legal representative is Mr. Ta Quoc Viet (residing in Hanoi , position of general director).
Project name registered for implementation: Tan Hoang Minh Office, Commercial and Luxury Apartment Complex Building, expected implementation area of 6,622.9m², implementation location is the land on Pham Phu Thu Street (Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City), belonging to the subdivision planning project of Phuoc Long - Vinh Tuong - Vinh Nguyen Ward Residential Area, Nha Trang City. The total expected investment of the project is 1,800 billion VND.
Regarding the origin of the land use process, Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited said that this unit was leased 7,846.4m² of land by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province according to Decision 628/QD-UB dated March 2, 2005 and signed a land lease contract on October 31, 2005.
"Many investors have registered, including Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited, which is considered eligible," said Mr. Quang.

Also according to Mr. Quang, on April 23, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province issued a document to seek appraisal opinions from the Department of Construction, Department of Finance, and Nha Trang City People's Committee on the list of land plots for the implementation of the above project.
After collecting opinions, on May 16, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province submitted a document to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province on approving the list of land areas for pilot projects in Khanh Hoa province according to Resolution 171 of the National Assembly.
"Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has held a meeting to agree to submit to the Provincial People's Council for approval of the list of land plots for piloting commercial housing projects in Khanh Hoa province," said Mr. Quang.
On June 2, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council held a thematic meeting, approving the list of 4 land plots in Nha Trang City with a total area of 508,816.6 m² to implement a pilot commercial housing project according to Resolution No. 171 of the National Assembly.
The list of 4 land plots to be implemented as a pilot project in Khanh Hoa province includes a 7,846.4 m² land plot at Binh Tan Port Warehouse, Pham Phu Thu Street (Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City) registered by Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited to implement the pilot project.
On June 6, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province announced its approval for real estate business organizations to carry out pilot projects at 4 land plots in Nha Trang city, including approval for Tan Hoang Minh Hotel Trading and Service Company Limited to carry out a pilot project at the above land plot.
The Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa province affirmed that the implementation of the above procedures is the authority of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee, not the authority of the Standing Committee and Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Trung Thu - Chief of Office of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee - said that according to Resolution No. 171 of the National Assembly and Decree No. 75 on piloting commercial housing projects, the authority to approve real estate business organizations to implement pilot projects does not belong to the Provincial Party Committee but is the responsibility of the Provincial People's Committee to carry out procedures, review and decide.
Tan Hoang Minh asks to invest in smart urban area in Da Lat
On June 24, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that Tan Hoang Minh Group has just proposed investing in a smart urban area in Da Lat.
Previously, on June 3, Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, chaired a working session with the group's leaders on the idea of planning a smart urban area in the east of Da Lat.
At the meeting, a representative of Tan Hoang Minh said that the enterprise wishes to study the planning and investment of an ecological urban project combined with an international film studio on a large enough land fund in Xuan Tho commune.
This project will be a new urban highlight, contributing to the depopulation of the central area of Da Lat. The research scope of the project is about more than 4,000 hectares, located about 7km from the center of Da Lat. This is an area adjacent to the inner city of Da Lat but there is no urban residential project yet.
The group proposes to develop a high-tech urban area with eight functional zones, aiming to attract residents from many regions. In addition, the project aims to develop high-tech agriculture and create livelihoods for local people.
At the meeting, representatives of departments such as the Department of Construction and the Department of Finance of Lam Dong noted that businesses need to study and adjust some contents to suit the current planning.
Previously, in 2021, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee allowed Tan Hoang Minh to study planning ideas on an area of about 4,320 hectares in Xuan Tho commune. However, the project was later suspended.
