The music night “Waiting for someone” on the Love in the Bay by Ambassador Cruise stage is an opportunity for Vicky Nhung to bring many surprise gifts to the audience, with a musical journey with many levels from nostalgia, torment to sublimation, brilliance, through love songs associated with emotions.
Opening with romantic love songs like “Love like leaves flying away” and “Love fading away”, Vicky shared that this was the first time she brought familiar arrangements to an outdoor stage – where emotions seemed to resonate with the sky, water and beautiful light.
One of the most special highlights of the show was the song “Hoa bang lang” – a song performed for the first time and never posted on any digital platform. Vicky Nhung shared that this was the “exclusive” gift she wanted to give to the audience.

Vicky Nhung considers herself a very romantic person, and it is that romance that Vicky conveys in her compositions or re-sings of old songs. For the female singer, each song is a story so that the audience can feel the story more deeply.
In the song “Forget the pain of that year”, Vicky humorously shares about the “romantic absurdity” in the lyrics: “boiling the whole ocean to make a cup of tea for the one you love, but then that person throws that cup of tea away”. It is this empathy, sincerity and a bit of mischief that makes her performance approachable and brings gentle laughter to the audience.
Besides familiar ballads like “A Time of Love” and “Warm Wind Scarf”, Vicky Nhung connected with the audience more closely by singing along with the audience without a band.

Regarding her upcoming plans, Vicky Nhung said that she will soon release an EP.
At the end of the show, with the mashup “Longing for love – Remembering you”, Vicky Nhung came down from the stage, holding hands with each audience member to wish them a perfect love and happiness.

“We are not just offering a trip but a memorable journey. Music nights like ‘Waiting for Someone’ are the ‘emotional connection’ between tourists and Ha Long Bay – so that they not only come, but also want to come back,” said Mr. Nguyen Hong Nhat, representative of the organizing unit.
