On the morning of October 4, the 17th Congress of Hue City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, held its closing session. The 17th Hue City Party Committee Executive Committee was officially introduced, received its tasks, and affirmed its determination to build a comprehensively developed Hue City.

At the final meeting, the Hue City Party Committee, term XVII, elected the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, consisting of 15 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, term XVI, Chairman of the City People's Committee, was trusted to hold the position of Secretary of the City Party Committee, term XVII. Comrades Pham Duc Tien, Phan Thien Dinh and Nguyen Chi Tai held the positions of Deputy Secretaries.

The Congress also elected the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee consisting of 11 comrades and a delegation to attend the 14th National Congress.

In his closing speech, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized: The Congress was a great success, demonstrating the aspiration and determination of the entire Party Committee to soon put the Congress Resolution into life.
