A First Person View (FPV) drone video has captured the moment a Russian Kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) destroyed a fortified Ukrainian position near the town of Soledar in the northeastern Donetsk region.
The video, released on November 25, shows a Russian pilot flying a quadcopter packed with explosives through the door leading to the Ukrainian outpost. It also includes footage of the subsequent explosion from a different angle.

Russian troops took control of Soledar in January after fierce fighting. The town is about 15km from Bakhmut, the scene of the biggest battle of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine in May.
“Their UAVs are always in the air, day and night. We can see that they have deployed mass production of drones for reconnaissance, surveillance and attack,” said a Ukrainian serviceman.
The serviceman estimated that Russia has twice as many UAVs as Ukraine in the Donetsk front, and said that "UAVs are a game-changer in this war."
