General Secretary To Lam received Mr. Saif Malik, CEO and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, Standard Charter Bank in the UK; Senior Vice President of Asia - Pacific of Airbus Group Chris Drewer; Global Senior Vice President of Rolls Royce Group Ms. Hellen Wilson.

General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the effective cooperation in the fields of finance, banking, aviation and aircraft engines between Vietnamese corporations and enterprises. He thanked Standard Chartered Bank for its assistance in the recent upgrade of Vietnam's stock market, and hoped that the bank would continue to support Vietnam's credit rating upgrade and assist Vietnam in successfully issuing bonds in the future, thereby helping to mobilize capital at reasonable costs, promoting Vietnam's development.

Regarding the aviation sector, General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the business cooperation results of Airbus Group and RollsRoyce Group with Vietnamese airlines, actively contributing to the increasingly strong, autonomous and comprehensive development of Vietnam's aviation and aerospace industry.

The General Secretary suggested that corporations expand the supply chain and manufacture Airbus aircraft equipment in Vietnam, cooperate in training human resources, and transfer technology in the aviation and aerospace sectors to Vietnamese partners. In the immediate future, they should promote the establishment of a Roll Royce engine maintenance and repair center in Vietnam. General Secretary To Lam said that Vietnam will continue to create favorable conditions for foreign enterprises to invest and do business in Vietnam.

Leaders of the corporations affirmed the correct guidelines and policies of the Communist Party of Vietnam in stabilizing the macro-economy and promoting sustainable growth, and pledged to continue investing and contributing to Vietnam's prosperity.
