Accordingly, the Vietnamese national team with 8 members has excellently achieved high results in both individual and team events.
In the individual competition, 100% of participating Vietnamese students won prizes, including 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, 3 Bronze Medals and 1 Encouragement Prize.

Specifically, the 3 Gold Medals are: Nguyen Viet Trung Nhan, Grade 10, High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences , University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Nguyen Huu Tuan, Grade 11, High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences, University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Nguyen Phu Nhan, Grade 11, Le Quy Don High School for Gifted Students, Da Nang City.
Nguyen Nhat Minh, Grade 10, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi won the Silver Medal.
The 3 Bronze Medals are: Nguyen Khac Trung Kien, grade 12, High School for the Gifted, Hanoi National University of Education; Bui Dam Quan, grade 12, High School for the Gifted, Hanoi National University of Education; Hoang Cong Bao Long, grade 11, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang City.
Student Bui Quang Nguyen, Grade 12, High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi won the Encouragement Prize.
In the team competition, Vietnam team 2, including students Nguyen Khac Trung Kien, Hoang Cong Bao Long, Nguyen Phu Nhan and Bui Dam Quan, achieved 4th place with 198.4 points - behind the teams of Poland, Russia and Hungary.
With this result, the Vietnam National Team is among the top 4 countries and territories with the highest achievements in this competition, continuing to affirm the position of Vietnamese education in the international intellectual arena.
The IOAI 2025 competition was held in Beijing, China from August 2 to 8 with the official participation of 300 candidates from 78 teams from 60 countries and territories.
