The 2025 Predator WPA Men's 10-Ball World Championship will take place at the Military Zone 7 Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City from September 17 to September 28. This is also the first time in history that Vietnam has hosted a billiards pool world championship. At the same time, Vietnam has become the third country to have the honor of hosting the 10-Ball World Championship, after the Philippines and the United States, the two world powers of billiards pool.
All three events, including the Men's 9-Ball World Championship, Box Billiards Mixed Doubles and Poison Cues Saigon Women's 9-Ball Open, are co-organized by Box Billiards, Predator and the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards & Snooker Federation (HBSF). The event officially opened on the evening of September 19, with matches of the 2025 Men's 9-Ball World Championship Finals starting on September 20 and concluding on September 28.

In addition to the 2025 Men's 10-Ball World Championship, the world's largest billiards festival in Vietnam also has two notable parallel events including Box Billiards Mixed Doubles 2025 (10 balls, men's and women's doubles) taking place from September 17 to September 19, with a total prize of 100,000 USD (over 2.6 billion VND) and Poison Cues Saigon Women's 9-ball Open 2025 (9 balls for women) taking place from September 20 to September 26 with a total prize of 75,000 USD (nearly 2 billion VND).
The total prize value of the event series is up to 425,000 USD (about 11.2 billion VND), of which the prize money for the 2025 Men's 10-Ball World Championship alone is 250,000 USD (nearly 6.6 billion VND). The Men's 10-Ball World Champion will receive 70,000 USD (1.8 billion VND), the runner-up - 40,000 USD, and the two players tied for third place receive 17,500 USD.
Biado, the legendary Filipino cueist, will be in Vietnam.

Full of world billiards talent
The 2025 Men's 10-Ball World Championship brings together 96 of the world's top players, including many big names such as defending champion Carlo Biado, Fedor Gorst, Joshua Filler, Shane Van Boening, Eklent Kaci, Ko Pin Yi, Ko Ping Chung... Of which, Vietnam has 2 athletes participating in the final round, Duong Quoc Hoang (Hoang Sao) and Pham Phuong Nam, who received spots from sponsors. In addition, other Vietnamese players still have the opportunity to participate through the warm-up round.
In the first stage, the tournament will apply a double elimination format (2 lives), with 96 players competing in a winner-loser bracket to find the 32 best players. From the Last 32 round, players will compete in a knockout round to find the champion.
