The World Travel Awards has officially announced Vietnam as the World's Leading Heritage Destination in 2024, during the award ceremony in Madeira, Portugal. To maintain its "form" for 5 consecutive years (2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024), Vietnam had to overcome many "heavyweight opponents" such as Armenia, Brazil, Egypt, Greece, Japan, and Saudi Arabia.
