According to a VNA correspondent in Seoul, based on an analysis of January 2025 booking trends of Korean families with children and overseas travel demand during the winter holidays, Vietnam accounted for 26.6% of total overseas travel bookings, topping the list of most popular destinations. The next positions were followed by Japan (18.6%), the Philippines (13.7%), Guam (8.5%) and China (6.4%).
In 2024, Vietnam will also lead the list with 24.4%, followed by Japan with 18.8%.

The analysis shows that Vietnam is a popular destination in Southeast Asia thanks to its year-round warm climate, which is especially suitable for winter travel. Water activities, diverse amusement parks and many other factors help Vietnam please both children and parents, making it an ideal destination for families with young children.
