Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang highly appreciated the significance of the delegation's visit, which took place in the context of the very good development of Vietnam - China relations, especially after the historic bilateral visits of high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries, most recently the particularly important visit to China by General Secretary and President To Lam. This visit is a measure to concretize the high-level common perception on deepening theoretical cooperation and exchange between the two Parties.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang congratulated the success of the 3rd Plenum of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a conference of great significance, proposing measures to deepen comprehensive reforms, promote Chinese-style modernization and high-quality development in line with the Resolution of the 20th Congress; affirming that these are also topics that Vietnam is interested in in the process of summarizing theory and practice after 40 years of renovation. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that research agencies of the two Parties and two countries closely follow the requirements and practical requirements in the new situation, continue to strengthen theoretical cooperation and exchange, regularly share the latest research results, and contribute to practically serving the socio-economic development and socialist construction of the two Parties and two countries.

Comrade Khuc Thanh Son congratulated Vietnam on its great achievements over 40 years of renovation under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; expressed his belief that Vietnam will certainly successfully implement the goals set by the 13th National Congress and successfully organize the 14th National Party Congress.

Comrade Khuc Thanh Son emphasized that Chinese research agencies highly value and are ready to closely coordinate with Vietnam, continuing to effectively implement the common perception of the two Parties' top leaders on enhancing theoretical and practical cooperation in the process of building socialism, promoting modernization in accordance with the actual situation of each country. At the meeting, the two sides expressed their joy at the positive and remarkable developments in the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries; emphasizing that 2025 is of great significance to Vietnam - China relations, marking the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The two sides will closely follow the high-level common perception, promote regular exchanges and contacts between the high-level leaders of the two Parties and the two countries, enhance substantive cooperation in all fields, promote people-to-people exchanges, better control and resolve disagreements on the basis of high-level common perception and in accordance with international law, contributing to further strengthening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, promoting the building of a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance. The two sides also agreed to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the Party history research and theoretical research agencies of the two Parties, and coordinate to well organize the 19th Theoretical Workshop between the two Parties. On the same day, Comrade Lai Xuan Mon, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, had a working session with the delegation. The two sides discussed in depth the situation of each Party and each country, the theoretical and practical achievements of the two Parties in the past time, as well as the direction of cooperation between the propaganda and theoretical agencies of the two sides in the coming time. The delegation of the Communist Party of China also had a thematic information session with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and a number of Vietnamese theoretical research agencies on the results of the 3rd Central Conference of the 20th tenure of the Communist Party of China.
