On the afternoon of June 29, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2025 officially announced the two best teams to enter the final competition taking place on the evening of July 12, 2025. The final night will be the highly anticipated confrontation between Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam) and Jiangxi Yanfeng (China).

The DIFF 2025 Organizing Committee officially announced the two best fireworks teams that will compete in the final night taking place on the evening of July 12.

According to the evaluation of the Jury consisting of artists, art experts and consulting unit Global 2000, the two teams won almost absolute scores thanks to strict criteria: uniqueness, theme ideas, creativity in fireworks effects, music selection, synchronization and conveyed emotions.

Breakthrough performance, full of cultural imprint

Z121 Vina Pyrotech - a unit under the Ministry of National Defense , a "veteran" in the production and display of fireworks in Vietnam - this year participated for the first time in the international fireworks playground.

The debut performance with the theme “Aspiration to Rise” recreated the journey of Da Nang’s strong development, from historical memories to the aspiration for global integration. The performance was highly appreciated for its advanced fireworks techniques, many unique effects and emotional storytelling.

Meanwhile, Jiangxi Yanfeng - the reigning runner-up of DIFF 2024 - affirmed its class with the performance "Journey to the West Side Story", combining brilliant multi-layered color transition effects, tight composition and precise artillery control techniques.

The performance was like a "mythical film of light", leaving a strong impression on the judges and audience.

Final night: The stage explodes with top-notch fireworks

The organizers said that the scale of DIFF 2025 is the largest ever with the participation of 10 teams from Vietnam, China, Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, and Canada. Each team brings a unique "symphony of light", imbued with the national culture.

“This is one of the most consistent and creative seasons yet,” said Nadia Shakira Wong, CEO of Global 2000. “The teams have used modern technology, combined with national spirit, and told stories through light in a very impressive way.”

Painter Luong Xuan Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and a member of the jury, also said: “The two teams in the finals each have their own strengths, and the audience can absolutely expect an explosive, surprising night of competition.”

During the announcement meeting, the Organizing Committee conducted a draw for the performance order in the final night. Accordingly, Jiangxi Yanfeng - China will perform first and Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam will perform second.

Each team will receive about 7,000 fireworks from the Organizing Committee to design a special performance with the theme "Welcoming the new era".

The final night will be broadcast live at 8:00 p.m. on July 12 on VTV1 - Vietnam Television.

DIFF 2025 Award System

This year's awards are considered the most attractive in DIFF history, including: Champion Prize of 20,000 USD, Cup and Certificate;

Runner-up Prize is 10,000 USD, Trophy and Certificate; Most Favorite Team Prize (voted by the audience) is 5,000 USD and Certificate; Creativity Prize is 5,000 USD and Certificate; Prospective Prize (newly added) is 5,000 USD and Certificate.

In the final night, Jiangxi Yanfeng team - China will perform first and Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Vietnam will perform second.

Immediately after the results were announced, the two teams had just over 10 days to prepare for the final round that would decide the championship.

The final night of DIFF 2025 is not only a top competition between two of Asia's leading fireworks teams, but also promises to bring a special light feast, affirming Da Nang's position as an international event city.

Audience has the opportunity to receive valuable gifts

The Organizing Committee also announced the voting program for “Most Favorite Team” and the minigame to predict the winning team, taking place from 8:00 p.m. on July 2 to 8:00 p.m. on July 12, 2025 on the official fanpage of DIFF – Danang International Fireworks Festival.

Participants have the opportunity to receive a total prize value of up to 21.5 million VND, including: 10 pairs of Sun World Ba Na Hills cable car tickets; 5 pairs of AIO (All in one) tickets at Da Nang Downtown.
