VietinBank launches online registration to buy SJC gold bars

From June 19, VietinBank will start accepting online registrations for customers to buy SJC gold bars on VietinBank's website and stop issuing registration numbers directly at points of sale.

In order to support customers who want to buy SJC gold bars conveniently and quickly, from June 19, VietinBank has started accepting online registrations to buy SJC gold bars for customers on VietinBank's website and stopped issuing registration numbers directly at points of sale. Customers can access VietinBank's website: www.vietinbank.vn using personal electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, personal computers, etc.), then click on the banner "Register to buy SJC gold online". Customers fill in their personal information, email, and choose the time period for the transaction, and choose the transaction location as one of VietinBank's three gold selling locations.

Aiming to stabilize gold prices, following the direction of the Government and the State Bank of Vietnam , VietinBank has deployed the sale of SJC gold bars directly to individual customers.

After registering, customers receive the service registration result as a QR code and an appointment for purchasing SJC gold bars via their registered personal email. Then, customers go to the gold purchase location according to the appointment schedule, bring the original citizen ID card and 2 photocopies, the QR code received via email to carry out the gold purchase procedures. Registering to purchase SJC gold bars online will help customers avoid having to wait in line to get a number at the points of sale. Customer transaction information is completely confidential by VietinBank and this information is only used for SJC gold bar purchases. VietinBank also reminds customers: customers only register to purchase SJC gold bars online at VietinBank's website: www.vietinbank.vn. In case customers register on another website, VietinBank has the right to refuse the transaction; customers provide complete and accurate information when registering to purchase SJC gold bars online. If there is any incorrect or incorrect information compared to the information provided by the customer, VietinBank has the right to refuse the transaction. After registering to buy SJC gold bars online, the customer will receive an email to "Confirm registration" and a notification "Registration successful". Then the customer goes to the transaction location according to the address and time confirmed for the appointment to make the transaction. If the appointment time is more than 30 minutes, VietinBank will cancel the appointment to serve the next customer. When arriving at the point of sale to pay and receive gold, the customer must provide the QR code, the declared identification (valid according to regulations, the original for comparison and 2 photocopies). The official gold price is the price listed by VietinBank at the time of payment and delivery of gold bars at VietinBank's point of sale.
