The second quarter of 2025 marks a new milestone in Vietjet's strategy to expand its international flight network. The airline launched direct flights from Nha Trang to three major Russian cities: Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, and Blagoveshchensk.
In the Chinese market, the airline has launched routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai, meeting the growing demand for travel and trade. At the same time, Vietjet has opened new routes to India and Japan and increased the frequency of domestic flights to Da Nang, Nha Trang, Tuy Hoa, and other destinations.
Developing a modern fleet of aircraft.
Along with positive financial and operational results, Vietjet continues to invest in and develop its modern fleet. Vietjet placed an order for an additional 20 A330neo wide-body aircraft with Airbus during French President Macron's visit to Vietnam, bringing the total number of A330neo aircraft ordered to 40. Vietjet has become the airline with the largest A330neo aircraft order currently.
At the Paris Air Show 2025, Vietjet placed an order for 100 new Airbus A321neo aircraft and 50 options to purchase new aircraft. This is the largest aircraft order at the Paris Air Show 2025, placing Vietjet in the top 10 airlines with the largest aircraft orders in the world.
Recently, Vietjet has taken over ground handling services at the country's largest airports, thereby enhancing service quality control, optimizing operational efficiency, and providing enjoyable experiences for passengers. Vietjet has also been approved by the Ministry of Construction as the winning bidder for the investment project to build and operate aircraft maintenance services for facilities 3 and 4 at Long Thanh International Airport.

This is one of the projects within the aircraft maintenance complex serving domestic airlines, ensuring national interests and meeting the operational requirements of Long Thanh International Airport in phase 1.
At the end of Q2/2025, Vietjet continued to affirm its position as a new-generation airline with positive business results, with individual and consolidated pre-tax profits reaching 78% and 75% respectively of the full-year plan.
These strategic steps not only help Vietjet strengthen its internal capabilities but also create a solid foundation for Vietjet to make a strong breakthrough in the second half of 2025, aiming for sustainable development and expanding its reach on the global aviation map.
