Vietnam Airlines opens direct flight route Vietnam-Philippines

On June 17, Vietnam Airlines launched a direct flight route between Vietnam and the Philippines. Through this, the national airline marked its mark as the first Vietnamese airline to open a direct flight route to this beautiful island nation.

The inaugural flight, numbered VN648, departed from Ho Chi Minh City at 00:50 on June 17 and landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila at 04:20 on the same day. Passengers on the flight were given flowers, souvenirs and a special welcome at the airport.

Vietnam Airlines operates a total of 7 flights per week between Vietnam and the Philippines. Specifically, the Ho Chi Minh City-Manila route has a frequency of 4 flights/week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The Hanoi -Manila route has a frequency of 3 flights/week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Vietnam Airlines flights to and from Philippines will be operated at Terminal T1, Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila.
