VinAI cooperates with Qualcomm to launch Guardpro - security solution for smart cities

This is a smart artificial intelligence solution that can automatically detect unusual situations through cameras, contributing to improving the overall security quality in modern cities.

The GuardPro solution developed by VinAI uses artificial intelligence models and advanced computer vision technologies, capable of accurately analyzing image data from 150 camera streams on each processor to automatically detect security threats, violations of regulations, etc. in the monitored area. In order to bring breakthrough technology, VinAI has cooperated with Qualcomm Technologies to deploy the above advanced solutions.

The data will be sent directly to the management department at the time of the incident. Violations that are warned include leaving items in the wrong place in the hallway, leaving items that obstruct the elevator, parking vehicles in the wrong place or other dangerous behaviors... In addition, GuardPro also has the ability to self-learn, self-adapt and develop during the actual application process.

Accordingly, the hardware of the GuardPro solution uses the Qualcomm Cloud AI 100 processor combined with high-speed video analysis software developed by VinAI. The software is optimized specifically for the Qualcomm® Cloud AI 100 processor on the basis of the Qualcomm® AI Stack engine. The optimization will help businesses save up to 30% on hardware costs, while minimizing electricity and operating costs.
