Vinh Phuc has become an attractive destination for multinational companies.

Sharing with the working delegation about the potential and advantages of the province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Chi Giang said that Vinh Phuc has a famous tourist destination, Tam Dao Tourist Area, located at an altitude of 900m above sea level, discovered and found by the French in the early years of the 20th century.

This is also the 7th national tourist area of Vietnam to be honored by the World Travel Award as the world's leading tourist town in 2022, an attractive destination on the Vietnam tourism map, converging all types of historical, cultural, spiritual, adventure, ecological and resort tourism.

In terms of investment attraction, Vinh Phuc is considered one of the bright spots in the Northern region. By the end of September 2023, Vinh Phuc had attracted 1,281 projects, including 452 FDI projects from 19 countries and territories. Currently, the province has one project of a French investor, BC Chambard Asphalt Emulsion Joint Stock Company in Binh Xuyen Industrial Park, which has been in operation since 2014, with a capital of 1.07 million USD.

Also according to the leaders of Vinh Phuc province, in order to support businesses in the province, domestic and foreign investors, especially multinational corporations, strategic investors who are interested in learning about investment opportunities in the province, in the coming time, along with the good implementation of issued investment support mechanisms and policies, the province will continue to build sets of policies to diversify investment fields, increase access to investment support for businesses; ensure security, safety, social order, create all favorable conditions for investors to feel secure in production and business.

Dr. Remi Nguyen, Deputy Head of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, highly appreciated Vinh Phuc's geographical advantages and development potential; at the same time, affirmed that with flexible business support mechanisms and comprehensive investment and production policies, Vinh Phuc has become an attractive destination for multinational companies; has impressive economic growth over the years, regularly appearing in the top 10 localities with the highest budgets in the country. Dr. Remi Nguyen hopes that the province will continue to pay attention and create conditions for French investors to explore investment opportunities in the province's priority areas.
