Teachers consider this a launching pad for the journey of green and sustainable living for Vietnamese youth, where every idea can become a seed for change.
Bridging green ideas and action
From all three regions, many teachers believe that Green Voice is a bridge between knowledge and action, opening up opportunities for students to connect environmental ideas with reality and participate in hot issues of sustainable development.
Mr. Le Viet Ha, Vice Principal of Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted ( Da Nang City), shared his excitement when seeing the green spirit spreading strongly in schools.
“The students do not only participate in Green Voice for rewards or to practice skills, but more importantly, to form awareness about protecting the environment right where they study and live, to make the city cleaner and better,” said Mr. Ha.
In Can Tho , Ms. Ha Thi Thu Phuong, a teacher at Ly Tu Trong High School for the Gifted, assessed that the contest helps students develop comprehensively, from knowledge, skills to attitudes towards life.
“Green Voice helps children become more confident in expressing their thoughts, expressing their ideas, opinions and discovering their hidden potential,” Ms. Phuong shared.
Ms. Ha Giang, a teacher at Sky-Line Education System (Da Nang), said this is an intellectual playground that helps young people view social issues through their own "green lens".
“You can observe through your own lens to realize what are the social issues, what are the stories that you can contribute with your youth, ideas and abilities. I believe that the contest will be a launching pad, an important stepping stone for you to start that green journey,” Ms. Ha Giang shared.

Sharing the same thought, Ms. Vu Thi Lien Hoa, Principal of Greenfield Bilingual School (Hung Yen), emphasized: “Through the contest, students will be more aware of what a green life is and how to take action. They need to raise their voice, spread it to their families - that is, both the previous and the next generation - to work towards a green future and a green life.”
Expand knowledge, practice skills
Not only does the competition help students broaden their horizons and knowledge about environmental issues, it also gives contestants the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field of public speaking and debate, helping students practice soft skills such as communication, presentation and teamwork.
In particular, season 3 applies the British Parliamentary debate format in English, helping students practice their argumentation and debate skills according to international standards, confidently entering global playgrounds.
"The contest will help students develop their potential, confidently stand in front of a crowd to present their ideas and defend their views," said teacher Le Viet Ha.
According to Mr. Ha, the knowledge and skills accumulated from the competition will also become valuable assets, helping students expand their career opportunities and become more mature on the road ahead.

From the perspective of a direct teacher, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Vi Thanh High School for the Gifted, Can Tho City, believes that Green Voice brings experiences beyond theoretical lessons.
“This is where you can face and use your voice and knowledge to find the best solutions to current environmental problems,” Ms. Thuy shared.
Not only a playground for high school students, Green Voice also marks the companionship of dedicated teachers. They are the "rear" leading and fueling the journey of leaving a mark on the green journey of the young generation.
“We learn carefully about the contest so we can guide and accompany the children on every journey,” Ms. Ha Thi Thu Phuong shared.
After the first two successful seasons and an explosive start to season 3, Green Voice has shown its role as a launching pad to nurture green spirit, sustainable thinking and connect the young community on the journey to create the future.
The Green Voice debate contest is a project under the Green Education program and is part of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Education and Training and the Green Future Fund - Vingroup Corporation for the period 2023-2028. The contest is open to all high school students nationwide. After two seasons, the Green Voice contest has attracted nearly 6,000 contestants from hundreds of high schools in 33/34 provinces and cities, proving the appeal and spread of this useful intellectual playground for students.
