VNGGames, VTC jointly won the award for Excellent Game Publisher of the Year 2025

On the evening of May 26, the Vietnam Game Awards 2025 Ceremony took place in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, Vietnam Game Awards has made some adjustments and expanded the award categories compared to last year. Accordingly, the four categories of Most Favorite Game Character, Globally Successful Vietnamese Game, Outstanding Game Developer and E- Sports Tournament of the Year are included in the award structure for the first time but have quickly received great attention from the gaming community.

Notably, at this year's awards, the number of Vietnamese games and developers in the category has grown significantly with 44 nominations in 5 awards in the category of The Golden Sun. According to the Organizing Committee, the Final Round (from April 18, 2025 to May 15, 2025) continues to attract the attention of the gaming community when it surpassed the 2 million vote mark.

The 6 categories: Most Favorite Gaming Community; Most Favorite Gaming Character; Most Favorite E-Sports Community; Most Favorite Network Provider; Most Favorite Payment Channel; Most Favorite Gamer Drink will be entirely based on community votes (favorites).

In the category of Best Game Publisher of the Year, two units were named: VNGGames and VTC. This is an award with fierce competition between votes from readers and scores from the professional council.

Both units have made great contributions to the Vietnamese gaming industry, with VNGGames publishing more than 200 game titles in Vietnam, reaching out internationally with more than 40 games, while VTC has a rich publishing ecosystem from PC to mobile with 20 years of experience in publishing and producing games.

"This is the most prestigious and important award of Vietnam GameVerse. Congratulations to VNGGames for three consecutive years and congratulations to VTC for its spectacular comeback," said Mr. Le Quang Tu Do - Director of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information. Last year, this position belonged to VNGGames and Gamota.

The Golden Gear category for gaming devices and services saw many new winners: the Acer Predator Helios 18 AI was the best gaming laptop, the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro beat the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S25 Ultra to win the gaming phone category. FPT was named the most favorite network operator; MoMo continued to make its mark as the favorite payment channel; and Abben energy drink surprised everyone by winning the favorite beverage award.

In the Golden Star group, Lien Quan Mobile was honored as the best eSports game. Player La Phuong Tien Dat (Himass) won the outstanding individual award; The Expendables team became the best team after a series of global achievements. The esport tournament of the year went to CFS Summer Championship 2024 - an international tournament organized by VTC in Vietnam. In terms of community, the victory went to Valorant Vietnam, standing out with its tournament system and methodical community activities.

This year's Vietnamese game segment The Golden Star recorded the dominance of Silkroad Origin Mobile - Legend of the Traveler when it won three major awards: Vietnamese Game with Best Gameplay, Outstanding Graphic Design and Vietnamese Game of the Year.

In addition, Wood Screw Puzzle - a simple puzzle game that has reached over 100 million downloads worldwide, was awarded the Global Successful Vietnamese Game Award. iKame Global also received the Outstanding Game Developer Award for the first time, recognizing its journey of over 10 years of bringing Vietnamese products to the world.

The most favorite game characters are Han Bao Quan and Dam Hoa Lien from the game Yulgang Origin VTC. The Most Favorite Game Community award goes to Vo Lam Truyen Ky - a monument over 20 years old with a large and loyal fan base, while the game itself was also awarded the Timeless Game award, recognizing its lasting contributions to the history of the Vietnamese gaming industry.

In the Game of the Year category, Tieu Ngao - published by Gamota surpassed many strong competitors such as Zenless Zone Zero, Thien Long Bat Bo or Thien Nu to be named.

In addition to the Vietnam Game Awards 2025 Ceremony, on May 26-27, 2025, Vietnam Game Festival also held other exciting activities including: Vietnam Game Forum 2025, GameHub Final, Entertainment Activities.

In addition, the Organizing Committee will reserve space and time slots to conduct business connection activities, meet foreign game developers, thereby actively promoting connection, cooperation and investment between units in the game ecosystem in Vietnam and internationally./.
