The play "Xuan Huong Nu Si" premiered to the audience on the evening of January 27, 2024.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of January 24, the City Arts Council organized an appraisal of the Cheo play “Xuan Huong Nu Si” performed by the Hai Phong Cheo Troupe.
The play was performed by a team including Scriptwriter Nguyen Duc Minh, Director People's Artist Trinh Thuy Mui, Music Meritorious Artist Dao Tuan Hai, Painter People's Artist Dat Tang, Choreographer Meritorious Artist Hoai Anh, traditional singing teacher People's Artist Minh Thu, program manager Head of Hai Phong Cheo Troupe Nguyen Van Van... through the performance of artists, actors of Hai Phong Cheo Troupe and some art troupes of the city.
“The Queen of Nom Poetry” - Poet Ho Xuan Huong, with her intelligence, sharpness and also a stunning beauty, she was honored as “Phi Mai the first in the capital”. With over 150 poems of high artistic value, translated into 12 languages in the world . Ho Xuan Huong is considered by researchers to be a special cultural phenomenon. She is the only female Vietnamese cultural celebrity honored by UNESCO.
The play "Xuan Huong Nu Si" will partly recreate her life, an outstanding but troubled female poet, and at the same time recreate her best poems and her beautiful but troubled love affairs.
At the evaluation program, members of the City Arts Council contributed ideas for the production team to complete the play before broadcasting live at 8:30 p.m. on January 27, 2024 on Hai Phong Radio and Television channels from the August Theater.
