With U20 Syria winning 10-1 against U20 Guam in the early match at 4 p.m., U20 Vietnam received more pressure when facing U20 Bangladesh. Losing to their opponent in terms of goal difference, U20 Vietnam's goal was to both win big and preserve their strength before the final match. At home, U20 Vietnam clearly showed their desire to win. Coach Hua Hien Vinh sent his best players onto the field, including Le Phat, Le Dinh Long Vu and Cong Phuong. U20 Vietnam's ambition was soon realized with the opening goal of the match from striker Hoang Minh Tien. Receiving the ball from Mai Quoc Tu's cross, Minh Tien cushioned the ball into the opponent's net, hitting a Bangladesh player's foot.

However, since then, U20 Vietnam has been playing extremely deadlocked with many failed passes. Meanwhile, despite being considered weaker, U20 Bangladesh's performance cannot be underestimated. However, Minh Tien and his teammates were still the ones who played more effectively. This striker took advantage of the opponent's mistake in the 30th minute to raise the score to 2-0. In the 40th minute, Nova's tricky header narrowed the gap to 1-2 for Bangladesh. Just 2 minutes later, Quang Duyet's powerful long-range shot helped U20 Vietnam take a 3-1 lead.

Entering the second half, U20 Bangladesh could no longer maintain their momentum. They played deadlocked and rarely created any notable plays. In the 80th minute, Cong Phuong's beautiful free kick sealed the 4-1 victory for U20 Vietnam.

Despite a big win over U20 Bangladesh, coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team still lost the top spot to U20 Syria. In the final match, U20 Vietnam will face Syria. If they cannot win, coach Hua Hien Vinh and his team will only get second place in the group. In the 2025 AFC U20 qualifiers, the 10 group winners and 5 best second-placed teams will qualify for the Final Round.
