Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do spoke at the citizen reception.
At the citizen reception, comrade Le Thanh Do - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received 3 rounds of citizens regarding the petition for granting land use right certificates and land ownership.
After listening to the presentation of Ms. Truong Thi Huong (address: No. 70, Street No. 5, Group 8, Noong Bua Ward), according to which, her family had 264m2 of land in Group 10, Song Da Ward, Muong Lay Town revoked but had not been compensated and granted resettlement land, she submitted a petition and directly met with the Chairman of the Town People's Committee and departments and offices of Muong Lay Town, but so far it has not been resolved. Based on the opinions of relevant agencies, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do requested the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu City and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to review all the contents based on the records provided by citizens, and at the same time, based on the resettlement content of Son La Hydropower Plant and the content previously resolved by the Muong Lay Town People's Committee, report back to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and response to citizens, ensuring the rights and interests of the people.
Also at the citizen reception, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do received the petition of Ms. Khuc Thi Tam (address: No. 628, Group 1, Tan Thanh Ward) requesting to consider assigning the land ownership of her and her brother to Mr. Ha's family so that Mr. Ha can receive compensation for the land. Regarding this content, representatives of the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Dien Bien Phu City People's Committee, and the Provincial Inspectorate discussed and clarified the related contents. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to continue reviewing the current land use status, land measurement records to assign land ownership to Mr. Ha, reviewing the compensation plan, reviewing the reasonableness and legality of the measurement and assignment, and completing the report to send to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration.
Regarding the content of Ms. Tran Thi Dung (authorized by Mr. Bui The Nghia), residing at No. 58, Residential Group 4, Noong Bua Ward, Dien Bien Phu City, requesting the Provincial People's Committee to consider land allocation with land use fees collected without auction (her family is subject to resettlement of Son La Hydropower Plant according to the provisions of Clause 1, 2, Article 1 of Decision No. 02/2007/QD-TTg dated January 9, 2007 of the Prime Minister). Based on the discussion of relevant professional agencies, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do agreed that the content of Ms. Tran Thi Dung's application does not meet the conditions for land allocation according to the resettlement policy of Son La Hydropower Plant, and requested her to agree with the resolution of the Provincial People's Committee. In the coming time, in case she proves that there are new circumstances or has recommendations, the provincial authorities will continue to consider the new factors./.
