Vu Ngoc and Son turn Han River port into fashion runway

(Dan Tri) - The outdoor space by the Han River wharf for the first time became a fashion show, gathering nearly 100 models and 500 guests, including many artists and celebrities.

Designer duo Vu Ngoc Tu and Dinh Truong Tung have just announced their 16th solo show called Where Fireworks Are Brilliant , scheduled to be held on July 20 at the Han River port ( Da Nang ).

The event marked the first time an independent fashion show by a Vietnamese designer was held right on Bach Dang Street - a prominent location associated with the culture and modern life of the central coastal city.

According to the two designers, the show received attention and support from the People's Committee of Da Nang City and related departments and branches.

"Through the program, we hope to contribute to spreading the image of Da Nang people and city closer to the public at home and abroad," said the designer.

The designer revealed that this collection was inspired by the landscape, people and characteristics of Da Nang. The collection includes 150 designs, performed by nearly 100 models. The designs have the spirit of the tourist season, are highly applicable with many elegant and classic dress shapes.

Vu Ngoc Tu and Dinh Truong Tung bring their love for their homeland, the beautiful nature and the breath of summer through fireworks motifs. In particular, the sea hibiscus flower was chosen as the creative inspiration for the collection, simple yet brilliant.

The costumes use materials such as jacquard brocade, organza silk... combined with 3D embellishment and hand embroidery techniques. Blue is chosen as the main color. This is a color that symbolizes freshness and positive spirit.

According to the organizers, the 300m long catwalk along the harbor will be the gathering place for 500 guests, including many famous artists and models.
