Man suspected of being high on drugs stabs people and then commits suicide: At least 6 people injured

While traveling, a man suspected of being high on drugs in District 3 (HCMC) used a homemade knife to slash people on the street, injuring 6 people.

Regarding the case of "A man suspected of being high on drugs stabbed a resident and then committed suicide", District 3 Police are coordinating with professional units of Ho Chi Minh City Police to say that at least 6 residents were injured in the incident.

According to initial investigation, at around 9:30 a.m. the same day, Ward 2 Police, District 3 received a report that a man of unknown origin (about 30-35 years old), naked, holding a knife, was walking on the street and then slashing and injuring people in alley 110 Nguyen Thien Thuat.

Authorities blocked off the scene to deal with the situation.

When the police arrived, the man fled to alley 212, 174 Nguyen Thien Thuat (Ban Co market), ward 3. While moving, he used a homemade knife to slash people on the street, injuring 6 people.

After that, the man went to Ban Co street and used a knife to commit suicide, dying on the spot.

The injured were taken to the hospital by authorities.
