The debt collection case of the contractor has been resolved, the National Highway 45-Nghi Son opened to traffic on schedule.

Many people are planning their holidays after hearing the news that the North-South expressway section through Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will open to traffic tomorrow (September 1).

However, on forums, many people expressed concern about traffic jams and difficulties in traffic due to the fact that some businesses had their vehicles stretch banners to block the road on the National Highway 45-Nghi Son (section through Thanh Hoa). The reason was that the investor owed money for materials to these businesses.

On the afternoon of August 31, speaking with VietNamNet reporters about this issue, the leader of Project Management Board 2 (Ministry of Transport) - the investor of the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son project said: "The Board has coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province and Nong Cong district to resolve the issue."

"We have explained the legal aspects to the business so that they can proactively move their vehicles off the highway," said this leader.

Thus, traffic on the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son is guaranteed to be smooth. Together with the Nghi Son - Dien Chau route which will be put into temporary operation from tomorrow, September 1, the travel time from Hanoi to Nghe An will be shortened to more than 3 hours instead of 5 hours as before.

Vehicles over 10 tons are not allowed on the highway.

Regarding the traffic organization plan, the Ministry of Transport has directed the Vietnam Road Administration to approve the traffic organization plan for two sections of the National Highway 45- Nghi Son and Nghi Son- Dien Chau according to the principle: The highway only serves cars, passenger cars, and trucks ≤ 10 tons. Objects not allowed to participate in traffic on the highway are trucks > 10 tons, motorbikes, motorbikes, tractors, specialized motorbikes with a speed of ≤ 70km/h, rudimentary vehicles, pedestrians...

Drivers participating in traffic on highways must comply with regulations on road load, size limits, and safety rules according to current laws.

Specifically, do not allow vehicles to enter emergency parking areas and roadside areas; do not allow vehicles to exceed the maximum speed and below the minimum speed indicated on signs and painted on the road surface.

When changing lanes on the highway, drivers must signal in advance and ensure safety. In case of emergency stopping or parking, the driver must move the vehicle to the emergency lane, place warning signs, and notify the support hotline...

Vehicles fully qualified for road traffic are allowed to travel on highways at a maximum speed of 80 km/h and a minimum speed of 60 km/h.

How to stream?

On the National Highway 45 - Nghi Son section, there are two exit and entry intersections. They are Van Thien intersection (in Van Thien commune, Nong Cong district) and Nghi Son - Bai Tranh intersection (in Tan Truong commune, Nghi Son town).

At Van Thien intersection, vehicles traveling about 40km will reach Nghi Son - Bai Tranh intersection, located in Tan Truong commune, Nghi Son town.

At Van Thien intersection, vehicles in Thanh Hoa move onto Highway 45 (or later there will be an additional road connecting Nghi Son - Tho Xuan airport with Van Thien - Ben En road. This road is currently under construction and not yet completed) to enter the highway.

In addition, people from the highway go to National Highway 45 through the service road in Nong Cong district to Thanh Hoa city or go to the western districts of Thanh Hoa province: Nhu Thanh, Nhu Xuan.

At the Nghi Son - Bai Tranh intersection (the end of the route connecting the Nghi Son - Dien Chau expressway), vehicles from the expressway traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Nghe An exit at two branch routes and then join Nghi Son - Bai Tranh road to reach Nghi Son Economic Zone or can continue to Nghe An province.
