On the morning of May 24, at Viet Hung commune, Vu Thu district People's Committee organized the opening ceremony of the 2023 mobile militia platoon sports festival.

The sports festival took place over 3 days from May 24 to 26, attracting the participation of 30 mobile militia platoons from communes and towns. The mobile militia platoons participated in the sports festival in 6 contents: Political and legal awareness, live ammunition shooting lesson 1 with AK submachine gun, throwing grenades at long range and hitting the target, wrapping explosives, disassembling and assembling equipped guns, 5 techniques of bandaging and first aid. Depending on the content, the sports festival was carried out by 100% of soldiers, representatives of soldiers or the entire platoon.

Although the sports festival took place in hot weather conditions, the platoons participated seriously and responsibly, with 100% of the troops participating.

The sports festival is an opportunity to evaluate the training results at the grassroots level, thereby promptly adjusting and supplementing limitations, promoting strengths, contributing to improving the command, technical, tactical skills and physical training, combat ability for the mobile militia force of communes and towns, and at the same time selecting an excellent mobile militia platoon to participate in the sports festival at a higher level.
