This year's festival with the theme "I love Vietnamese Ao Dai" will take place at the following locations: President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park and Nguyen Hue walking street, Lam Son Park, Youth Cultural House, Ao Dai Museum, QT4 Square (Saigon Riverside Park, Thu Duc)... and at historical sites, cultural sites, tourist destinations, and constructions of Ho Chi Minh City...

Reporter: Can you tell us about the new features of the Ao Dai Festival in 2024?

- Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa: This year's festival, in addition to the Ao Dai flower street, the Organizing Committee also has a place for visitors to experience Ao Dai. The groups of visitors will gather at 92 Nguyen Hue, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City so they can experience Ao Dai. In addition, there will be a force of female workers that we have coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union to give Ao Dai to people at 0 VND.

In addition, at Lam Son construction site, we will design a runway to introduce Ao Dai in association with TikTok so that they can introduce Ao Dai, tailors and designers can introduce their products. This year, the art program will also introduce the wives of Consuls General of various countries to participate in the Ao Dai performance.

How many artists are expected to participate in the Ao Dai Festival this year?

- Many artists from various fields will participate in the 2024 Ao Dai Festival, with 20 ambassadors from participating countries and 30 Ao Dai designers from the three regions of North - Central - South participating in this year's Festival.

What do you expect from the Ao Dai Festival in 2024?

- For the tourism industry, after the Lunar New Year, Giap Thin has been prepared to create cultural events in early March, which is also the month to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8. It is expected that the number of visitors will increase when the Ao Dai festival has created a new breakthrough after 10 years of organization. Especially, the events all have high interaction with festival attendees.

In particular, through this year's festival, tourists will know more about Ho Chi Minh City when there is an Ao Dai festival held annually, as well as one of this year's media channels is "0 Dong Ao Dai" and the Tiktok channel will spread among young people.

This year, city leaders have also encouraged all departments and agencies to wear Ao Dai during Ao Dai Week in Ho Chi Minh City to spread this meaningful cultural event.
