Navy Region 4 organizes the 2024 model and training tool contest

On February 22, the Naval Region 4 Command organized a competition on simulation models, teaching aids, simulation software, and training films in 2024. Colonel Do Minh - Deputy Commander of the Region chaired the competition.

Before the contest, the jury had preliminarily evaluated more than 100 products, selecting nearly 70 products for the contest; including 33 training models, 21 simulation software and 14 training films of agencies and units in the whole region. Products participating in the contest are required to meet the following criteria: The necessity of the product for the needs of the unit; technology content, intellectual and material investment; and the ability to apply in practice.

Units have proactively invested in research to create many models, simulation software, and quality training films with high intellectual content, intuitive and vivid in teaching, which can be applied in practice, close to the specific training tasks of each unit. Typical examples include: The simulation model of the automatic torpedo testing machine of the 719 Technical Assurance Center; Software to simulate the main engine maintenance process of the 12418 ship, simulation of the LYNUX-U2 radar control system of Brigade 162...

The contest aims to continue promoting proactiveness and creativity in research, initiatives, improvements, and innovation of models and teaching aids to serve the unit's training and combat readiness tasks, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere before entering training in 2024.

At the end of the contest, the organizers will award first, second, and third prizes to the best quality products. The winning products will continue to improve and be ready to participate in other contests organized by the above.
