In the highlands, the weather will be cool at night and early morning, and in the high mountains, it will be chilly.

Lao Cai City: Cloudy, with occasional rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning; sunny and hot in the afternoon, south wind level 2; temperature from 27 to 36 0 C.
Sa Pa tourist area: Cloudy, sometimes rain at night, showers and thunderstorms possible, southwest wind level 2; cold at night and morning, temperature from 21 to 26 0 C.
Bac Ha tourist area: Cloudy, sometimes rain, showers and thunderstorms at night and early morning, south wind level 2; cool at night and early morning, temperature from 23 to 31 0 C.
Low mountainous areas (including districts: Bao Yen, Bao Thang, Van Ban and some lowland communes of Bat Xat and Muong Khuong districts): cloudy, rain at night and early morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; locally moderate rain. High mountainous areas (including districts: Bat Xat, Muong Khuong, Si Ma Cai): cloudy, rain at night and early morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places, south wind level 2; cool at night and early morning, temperature from 23 to 31 0 C.
Warning: Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure.
