At the meeting, local representatives proposed 26 contents revolving around 9 groups of issues related to human resources, facilities, finance, propaganda work, digital transformation, and cultural and sports institutions.
Ms. Bach Lien Huong requested localities to urgently review and make the most of available facilities at old commune headquarters to serve the operations of the new administrative unit from July 1; at the same time, arrange enough staff in specialized departments to ensure smooth operations and avoid work interruptions during the transition period.

Regarding the field of culture and sports, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports affirmed that the management of existing cultural institutions will remain stable. The city currently has 6,548 relics, including 22 special national relics and 1,164 national relics. Localities will have the right to directly manage 8 relic management boards located in that area, aiming to create a dynamic area for socio -economic development.
For sports centers, cultural centers, radio and television stations will be merged into one, becoming commune-level public service units, providing basic and essential public services in the new communes and wards.
