Traveling 500km to treat fibroids at Tam Tri Quang Nam Hospital

At the age of over 50, Ms. TTH began to feel heaviness and discomfort in her lower abdomen. Feeling that something was wrong, she took the initiative to go to a local clinic for a check-up. The results made her extremely worried: a tumor was growing in her uterus.

This is a very common gynecological disease at all ages, from the childbearing stage to menopause or postmenopause. However, recently this disease has become increasingly common in young women.

When symptoms such as heavy menstrual bleeding or severe menstrual cramps appear, feeling of pain or tension in the lower abdomen, the abdomen or uterus is larger than normal, constipation, women should immediately go for a gynecological examination; it is best to go for regular check-ups and ultrasounds for early detection and treatment.
