From Hanoi , you go by bus, then "overcome the wind and waves" by speedboat to get to the island. For convenience, on the first night, the male tourist booked a room on Tung Dinh Street, right in the center of town with full amenities. After leaving his luggage, he took a motorbike around Cat Ba to check out the situation.

Motorbikes can be rented at hotels for 100,000 VND/day. Almost all hotels and homestays here have motorbikes for rent, so visitors do not need to worry about motorbikes.

At around 3pm, because it was still sunny, the tourists went to their rooms to rest. At around 4:30pm, he started moving to Cat Co 3 beach to take pictures and swim.

On the way from the hotel to Cat Co 1 and 3 beaches are very close. On the way there are many very chill sunset scenes. Cat Co 3 beach will not allow swimming after 6pm, if you are not afraid of the sun, you should go as early as possible. With free entrance to the beach, if you want to leave your belongings or shower, there is a small additional fee.

In the evening, Dinh Tu went to eat at the Hot Pot and Grill restaurant. Before going, he found this restaurant looked good and when he made the choice, he felt it was the right choice. After dinner, tourists wandered around town, went for drinks, ate ice cream, shopped, went to the beach, bought gifts...

Since he wasn't in the town center the next night, he bought some gifts to take home. He went into a huge packaged seafood store located right on Nui Ngoc Street.

The next day, the tourists woke up at 5am to join the Lan Ha Bay cruise tour. For this male tourist, if he went to Cat Ba Island but did not go to Lan Ha Bay, it would be a huge mistake, because according to him, this is the most worth-going place.

“I joined the Dawn tour and the Lan Ha Bay day tour. The total time for both tours is from 6am to 3pm. You can join either the Dawn tour or the tour. The tour includes breakfast, seafood buffet lunch, kayaking, swimming in the bay, visiting fishing villages, and trying the feeling of fish massaging your feet…”, the male tourist said.

In the afternoon, visitors continue to Cat Co 1 beach area, then go up the walking path between Cat Co 1 and 3 to admire the extremely beautiful scenery.

By late evening, visitors return to the hotel to get their belongings and take a taxi to Republic Hostel to rest. Dinh Tu chooses to stay in the town center for 1 night, the remaining night to immerse himself in nature and conveniently go to the destinations for the 3rd day.

“Republic Cat Ba is located about 5 kilometers from the town center, it is very comfortable here, there is even a swimming pool. Coming here, I feel like I am really on vacation… The staff are foreigners and very nice. I had a light dinner at home,” said the male tourist.
