MU urgently negotiates with Ruben Neves
The Red Devils have begun negotiations to sign Ruben Neves after Barcelona withdrew from the race to sign the Portuguese midfielder.
Ruben Neves has long been on the radar of many big clubs in the foggy country, after impressing at Molineux since his transfer in 2017.
The Portuguese international's current deal with Wolves expires in June 2024, leaving the English club in a dilemma.
Wolves will likely have to accept the option of selling Ruben Neves next summer, otherwise they will face the risk of losing him for free next year.
According to Fichajes , MU is urgently negotiating with Neves' representative to bring him to Old Trafford.
The Manchester team has the upper hand as Barcelona are no longer interested in the former Porto player.
Coach Xavi believes that Ruben Neves does not suit the needs of the Catalan team. They are looking for a defensive midfielder to replace Busquets, while Neves's forte is playing higher up the pitch.
If he joins MU, Ruben Neves will be a quality addition to the midfield. Coach Ten Hag is trying to strongly reform the Red Devils' midfield.
Last summer, he bought Eriksen and Casemiro and both played well, pushing McTominay and Fred to the bench.
Scott McTominay is being closely watched by Newcastle. Therefore, if Neves arrives at Old Trafford, Ten Hag will allow the Scottish player to leave.

Chelsea will have to sell some players in the summer transfer window of 2023. |
Chelsea have to sell some players?
The London team needs to conduct a strong squad purge next summer to balance the financial budget.
According to the latest figures from the auditing company, Chelsea FC lost 121 million pounds last season. That means the blue team lost a total of 274 million pounds in the last 2 years.
The figure is set to rise further, as new boss Todd Boehly has spent £500m on new signings since taking over the club.
British media said Chelsea will have to sell some key players in the next summer transfer window to avoid financial fair play sanctions.
Coach Graham Potter also responded to the policy of liquidating personnel because he was having difficulty managing the cumbersome squad with 33 first-team members.
Names that are no longer in the plan such as Edouard Mendy, Christian Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Chalobah and Hakim Ziyech will be put up for sale.
Some key players such as Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount or Conor Gallagher are also allowed to leave if the club accepts attractive offers.
Man City are interested in left winger Ben Chilwell, although Chelsea could demand a fee of up to £70m.
Any player sales must be completed before June 30, the end of the 2022/23 financial season.
