Bien Ho Commune rewards 15 collectives and individuals on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day

(GLO)- On the afternoon of August 15, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bien Ho commune (Gia Lai province) held a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nay Kien - Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Mr. Trinh Van Sang - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee; together with representatives of agencies, organizations of Bien Ho Commune, grassroots security and order teams and officers and soldiers of the Commune Police.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee Trinh Van Sang said: The commune police force was previously a semi-professional force. Since 2019, the commune has been assigned a regular police force.

Since then, the Commune Police have become increasingly strong, achieving many remarkable results, ensuring political security, social order and safety in the area, contributing to maintaining stability for the commune to develop its socio-economy. In particular, when implementing the 2-level local government, the Commune Police force has been focused on building and arranging an increasingly disciplined, elite, modern force, closely linked to the grassroots, close to the people, and in close contact with the people.

The Chairman of Bien Ho Commune People's Committee also requested that the Commune Police force continue to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint of "taking people as the root", "respecting people, being close to people, understanding people, learning from people and being responsible to people". Thereby, building the image of a police officer who is close, friendly, listening to people's opinions, being the trust and solid support of the people.

Along with that, the Commune Police need to resolutely fight, fiercely attack, strongly suppress, strictly and legally handle all types of crimes. At the same time, curb the increase and try to reduce and push back the situation of crime and law violations in society, strengthen the work of ensuring traffic safety and order, fire prevention and fighting...
