STRONG TRANSFORMATION
In the general context of many difficulties and challenges, under the direct leadership and direction of the superior Party Committee and the solidarity, promotion of strengths and determination of the entire political system, the Party Committee of Binh Ninh commune has successfully implemented the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, ensuring economic restructuring in the right direction.

Since the beginning of July, the commune has focused on directing units to urgently review and evaluate the results of the implementation of political tasks of the 3 communes before the merger, thereby developing plans to implement key tasks in 2025 to implement the tasks. Conducting a review and inventory of public assets (including public land and equipment) transferred from the district and from the sources of the 3 communes for handover, management and effective use according to regulations.
Specifically, the commune’s agriculture has developed to meet the demands of the domestic and export markets. In particular, it focuses on key crops such as coconut, dragon fruit, vegetables, etc. using organic farming methods. The application of science, technology and advanced techniques in production helps increase productivity and quality of agricultural products; at the same time, increasing income for people is emphasized.
Service and commercial activities have also developed significantly, meeting the increasing needs of the people. The commune has focused all resources on developing infrastructure, creating a spacious and modern appearance for the locality. In the commune, there are currently 4 products recognized as 3-star OCOP and 16 products from cocoa fruits recognized as 4-star OCOP by Xuan Ron Cho Gao Cacao Company.
People's health care has been improved, and health target programs have been implemented synchronously. Social security policies have been implemented promptly and to the right target. Poverty reduction and job creation have achieved many practical results, with only 81 poor households remaining, accounting for 0.93%.
Along with that, during the past term, cultural institutions at the grassroots level continued to be invested in and upgraded, contributing to ensuring meeting and living places for the people. Social security policies were implemented promptly and fully according to regulations.
State management in all fields has been increasingly promoted, associated with good implementation of democracy at the grassroots level with the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit". Party building work continues to be focused on, maintaining the goals, innovation guidelines, and principles of the Party. Currently, the entire Party Committee has 566 party members in 38 grassroots party cells.
The settlement of administrative procedures is carried out in a streamlined, efficient, friendly manner, associated with the construction of e-government and digital government, bringing satisfaction to people and businesses. Comrade Tran Hoang Nhat Nam, Party Secretary, Chairman of Binh Ninh Commune People's Committee said: "In the 2020 - 2025 term, Binh Ninh commune has achieved outstanding results, creating a solid foundation for continued comprehensive development in the next period. The above results not only affirm the correct leadership of the Party Committee and government, but also demonstrate the spirit of solidarity and the will to rise of all local people.
PROMOTING STRENGTHS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
According to comrade Tran Hoang Nhat Nam, the outstanding results in Party building and socio-economic work of the commune in the past term are an important premise for Binh Ninh to continue to innovate, develop rapidly and sustainably, towards building a truly clean and strong Party Committee of the commune.
Working with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Binh Ninh commune on the results of the work of perfecting and stabilizing the organizational apparatus, ensuring material facilities and orientations, scenarios for socio-economic growth, national defense - security, and Party building, comrade Tran Van Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, proposed: In the coming time, the commune will continue to resolutely, comprehensively and synchronously implement the policies and guidelines of the Central Government and the province. Timely improve the organizational structure, improve the quality of cadres and civil servants, ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. The commune needs to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people, create consensus in society, and go along with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. Besides, the commune proactively coordinates with departments and branches to research and propose economic development models suitable to the potential, advantages and soil conditions of the locality. Effective exploitation of agricultural land and provincial road 864 will be an important basis for Binh Ninh to develop sustainably, improving the material and spiritual life of the people. |
On that basis, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee of Binh Ninh commune determines the goals: To be lean, compact, strong, effective, efficient, and effective; close to the people, dedicated to serving the people; promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; constantly innovating, creating, and aspiring for development; building a rich, beautiful, civilized, and comprehensively strong Binh Ninh commune.
“We consider people’s satisfaction as a criterion to evaluate the effectiveness of our officials’ work. Only when people trust, follow, and support can all policies and strategies be effective in practice,” added comrade Tran Hoang Nhat Nam.
To realize the goal, Binh Ninh commune has oriented development in the 2025 - 2030 term, focusing on promoting local strengths for sustainable development such as: Building Binh Ninh to meet modern new rural standards by 2030. Developing the economy in the direction of reasonable and effective transition; gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture, increasing the proportion of industry and services.
Agriculture focuses on existing key crops and livestock such as: coconut, fruit trees, vegetables, pig, chicken and cow farming. Cultivation is in the direction of food safety, organic, high technology; livestock farming only focuses on farm-scale livestock farming, ensuring the environment, and sharply reducing household and family livestock farming.
Regarding industry: Promote the advantages of provincial road 864 to invite industrial development on both sides of the road, in which priority is given to developing the area south of provincial road 864 to Tien river (focusing on the section from Hoa Dinh commune to the old Binh Ninh commune).
Regarding Services - Commerce: It is expected that the route along Tien River from Lien Hoa Pagoda to the East will call for investment in social housing; townhouses and resort villas along Tien River to take advantage of Provincial Road 864, Tien River and urban spread from My Tho City (old).
Promote spiritual tourism; at the same time, call for the development of more models of experiential tourism, agricultural tourism, and green tourism.
With solidarity, determination and aspiration for development, Binh Ninh commune is facing a new promising stage, this is the driving force for Binh Ninh to grow strongly, contributing to the overall development of the province.
