Cam Hiep Commune: Continue to evacuate 20 households to safe shelters

On the evening of November 19, heavy rain continued to fall over a large area in Cam Hiep commune; some traffic routes were cut off; the road to Suoi Coc and Valy villages had many small landslides.

Faced with the complicated weather, the commune forces coordinated with 30 officers and soldiers of Regiment 108, Division 305 to support the evacuation of 20 households/86 people in the Suoi Lach area (VaLy village) and Cau Tran (Suoi Coc village) to the village hall for safe shelter; at the same time, they were ready to support rescue when situations arose.

The commune continues to maintain 4 checkpoints and set up tents, although it has deployed forces on duty 24/7 at Cay Sung wharf in Suoi Cat village, Suoi Lach area in VaLy village and at Cau Tran in Suoi Coc village, the entrance to Suoi Coc village. At the same time, it continues to organize patrols in key areas to warn, guide and prevent people from entering dangerous areas.
