Providing teachers with renewed energy.

Following days of prolonged rain and flooding, the student union of Tra Nam Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School (Tra Linh commune) organized a creative and experiential activity during recess, making greeting cards for November 20th.

Using colored paper, drawing pens, dried flowers, and simple materials, the students unleashed their creativity to create beautiful and unique greeting cards. Each card carried a message of love and sincere gratitude from the students to their teachers, who have always been dedicated to guiding and accompanying them on their journey of knowledge.

Holding a greeting card meticulously cut, drawn, and written with heartfelt wishes by his students, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Bao, a 9th-grade math teacher and head of the school's youth organization, couldn't hide his emotion. For him, these were very special feelings, allowing him to sense the care, affection, and maturity in his students' thinking.

"These innocent, sometimes naive but genuine wishes help me feel that my efforts are recognized. After the difficult days of rain and floods, these small cards become a great source of energy, giving the teachers in the school more faith and strength to continue dedicating themselves," he shared.

According to Mr. Bao, participating in these activities not only hones students' dexterity but also teaches them how to express gratitude, an important moral value. Even a small card is enough to strengthen the bond between teacher and student. When students feel loved and understood by their teachers, they will be more motivated to study.

Hai Chau Ward recently honored the contributions of its teachers on the occasion of November 20th (Vietnamese Teachers' Day) and awarded 12 collective prizes and 55 individual prizes to authors and groups of authors with outstanding products at the "Ideas - Initiatives for Applying Information Technology and Digital Transformation in Education " competition in 2025. Although this was the first time the competition was held, the participating products all demonstrated the dedication, innovative spirit, and creativity of the teachers in various fields: applying software to support teaching, creating digital content, and technical solutions contributing to improving the quality of school activities.

Ms. Luong Thuy Quynh, Principal of Binh Minh Kindergarten (Hai Chau Ward), representing the winning team, said that the awards not only recognize the efforts of the teaching staff but also serve as motivation for teachers and groups to continue innovating, creating, and contributing to the cause of nurturing future generations.

Similarly, Hoa Lu Primary School (Thanh Khe ward) organized the "Shining in the Digital Age" competition, a meaningful professional platform for the school's teachers.

According to Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Tinh, the school principal, this is also an opportunity for the school to honor the efforts and dedication of the teachers, a chance for them to demonstrate their flexibility in applying information technology to the teaching process; it is a meaningful gift leading up to November 20th, showing the dedication of the teachers and the diligent and proactive spirit of the students in their studies.

Connecting hearts, sharing love.

Besides activities expressing gratitude and energizing teachers, this year's Teachers' Day celebration was also warmed by acts of sharing and mutual support. This year, Binh Minh Kindergarten (Cam Le Ward) unanimously decided not to hold a celebration for Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th. The school staff decided to use the funds that would have been spent to help people in disaster-stricken areas.

The school principal, Ms. Tran Thi My Le, said that the school had mobilized teachers, parents, and benefactors to raise over 90 million VND. This money was donated to the people of A Teep village (A Vuong commune), one of the areas severely affected by the floods, to help them repair their houses, purchase necessary equipment and supplies. This program not only brings warmth to the people in the highlands but also deeply educates the students about the spirit of compassion.

Showing solidarity with colleagues and students teaching and learning in disadvantaged areas, the teaching staff of Tay Son Secondary School (Hoa Cuong Ward), along with students and parents, donated a 65-inch interactive smart screen, 1 ton of rice, and many essential necessities for boarding students to Ly Tu Trong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School (Tra Tan Commune). In addition, 260 students at Ly Tu Trong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School each received a new uniform, warm jacket, and notebooks; and 13 scholarships were awarded to students with particularly difficult circumstances.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Ut, Principal of Tay Son Secondary School, said that the two schools will soon organize professional development sessions on subjects that are strengths of each school. This will improve the teaching capacity of teachers and contribute to improving student results. In addition, the school will provide monthly support to students from the other school who are in particularly difficult circumstances to minimize the dropout rate.
