Nghia Do Commune launched a campaign to support people affected by floods.

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Lao Cai province, on the morning of October 14, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Do commune organized a campaign to support people affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

With the spirit of "Sharing food and clothes", the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Do commune calls on cadres, party members, armed forces, business community, agencies, units, organizations and people to join hands in donating money and goods to support people in areas affected by storms No. 10 and 11 to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.

Accordingly, each cadre, civil servant, public employee, armed forces soldier, and worker donates at least one day's salary and income; households with average living standards or higher donate from 50,000 VND or more.

At the end of the launching ceremony, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Do commune received a donation of 43 million VND. The entire amount will be transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to promptly support localities severely affected by storms and floods.
