On July 9, Mr. Truong Thanh Nha - Secretary of the Party Committee of Vinh Hau Commune, Ca Mau Province - said that the locality has a total natural area of 232.75 ^km2 and a population of 41,899 people.

Vinh Hau commune was formed on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Vinh Thinh, Vinh Hau A and Vinh Hau communes, Hoa Binh district, Bac Lieu province before.

According to Mr. Nha, the locality has a total aquaculture area of 14,966 hectares and 4 wind power companies in operation with 69 turbines, total capacity of 270 MW...

In addition, the commune also has projects being implemented and preparing for investment, such as: anchorage area - fishing port; Bac Lieu liquefied gas power plant project with a total investment of about 4 billion USD...

"Vinh Hau commune has many potentials and advantages in developing combined eco -tourism , developing clean and renewable energy and super-intensive shrimp farming" - Mr. Nha informed.
