Determining 16 teams entering the 1/8 round of the C1 Cup

The group stage of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League ended early this morning. The list of 16 teams that have qualified for the knockout round of the tournament has been fully determined.

Man City and Real Madrid are the two teams that have won all their group stage matches. They are also the two most recent champions of Europe's top club tournament.

The English football representative has the strongest attack with 18 goals. Real Sociedad is the team that conceded the fewest goals.

The race for the Champions League "top scorer" this season has not had any players break away from the rest. Antoine Griezmann, Alvaro Morata, Rasmus Hojlund and Erling Haaland all have 5 goals. However, Hojlund no longer has the chance to improve his record when Man Utd is eliminated.

The UEFA Champions League round of 16 draw will take place next Monday (December 18) in Nyon, Switzerland. The group winners will be seeded, while the runners-up will not be seeded.

Seeded teams are drawn against unseeded teams. In addition, teams do not face opponents they have played together in the group stage or from the same member association.
