After the defending runner-up team, the Water Resources University, "showed off" their strength and secured a playoff spot as the top team in Group 1, Group A, the Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports also sealed their place in the next round from Group 2 with a 5-1 victory over the Vietnam-Hungary Industrial University.

The race in Group 3 also determined the remaining two playoff spots. A 1-1 draw between Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Hanoi University of Industry secured their places in the next round. Both teams had 4 points, but Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism finished first in Group 3 with a better goal difference (+3 compared to +1). Hanoi University of Industry, with 4 points, was the best second-placed team across all three groups and therefore secured their playoff spot.

A match with a record number of goals has emerged.

Yesterday's second round of Group D (Southeast Region Qualifiers) saw the creation of two new records in the TNSV tournament. Binh Duong University defeated Sonadezi College of Technology and Management with an unbelievable score of 18-2, while player Hoang Van Phuc also set a record by scoring 13 goals in a single match. This victory gives Binh Duong University its first 3 points, allowing them to confidently consider advancing to the next round. In the final round, Sonadezi College of Technology and Management is unlikely to pull off another surprise against Ba Ria – Vung Tau University (who defeated Binh Duong University 3-1).

In the other match at Bau Thanh Stadium, newcomer Lilama 2 International College of Technology impressively drew 1-1 against Lac Hong University. This result makes the situation in the final round of Group 2 of the Southeast region unpredictable. Lac Hong University had suffered a heavy 1-9 defeat in the opening match, so if Lilama 2 International College of Technology loses by less than 8 goals against Dong Nai University of Technology, they will secure second place in the group and a ticket to the knockout round for the top 4 teams.

In Group 6, League E (Ho Chi Minh City regional qualifiers) yesterday at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry team suffered a bitter defeat against the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City). Despite playing evenly with their opponents and even creating numerous scoring opportunities, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry team made a mistake leading to a penalty and ultimately lost 0-1 to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. This defeat significantly reduced the chances of Coach Phan Hoang Vu's team advancing to the play-offs, while the door to progressing remains wide open for the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

Meanwhile, in Group 7, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education team asserted their dominance with a 4-0 victory over the Vietnam Aviation Academy team. Securing the top spot after two consecutive wins, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education team secured their place in the play-off round.
