Determining the group of 2 Vietnamese teams at "Asian Cup C2"

VHO - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has just held the draw for the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26 - a tournament likened to the "Asian Cup C2".

A total of 32 teams will participate in the 2025/26 AFC Champions League Two, including 16 teams from the West region and 16 teams from the East region.

Four groups in the Eastern region

Vietnamese football has two representatives participating, Nam Dinh Club - V.League 2024/25 champion and Hanoi Police Club - National Cup 2024/25 champion.

According to the seeding groups, Nam Dinh is in group 2 with BG Pathum United (Thailand), Macarthur FC (Australia) and Selangor FC (Malaysia); Hanoi Police is in group 4 with Eastern (Hong Kong - China), Persib Bandung (Indonesia) and Tampines Rovers (Singapore).

Eastern region draw results, Nam Dinh in group F with Gamba Osaka (Japan), Ratchaburi FC (Thailand) and Eastern FC (Hong Kong - China).

Meanwhile, Hanoi Police are in Group E with Beijing FC (China), Macarthur FC (Australia) and Tai Po FC (Hong Kong - China).

The 2025/26 AFC Champions League group stage will take place from 16.9 to 24.12.2025.

Hanoi Police (red shirt) just defeated Nam Dinh to win the National Super Cup.

The round of 16 will be held from 10 to 19 February 2026, the quarter-finals from 3 to 12 March 2026, the semi-finals from 7 to 15 April 2026 and the final on 16 May 2026.

Last season, Nam Dinh also participated in this tournament, winning 11 points in the group stage with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.

In the round of 16, the team from Thanh Nam stopped at Sanfrecce Hiroshima (Japan) with a total score of 0-7 after two matches.

Entering the new season, both Nam Dinh and Hanoi Police have carefully prepared in terms of expertise and personnel, determined to affirm the position of Vietnamese football in the continental arena.

With strong investment, fans expect the two representatives to leave a strong impression and go deep in the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26.
