Building Ly Son into a center of sea and island tourism

(QNgTV) - Quang Ngai province is finalizing a project to develop Ly Son into a sea and island tourism center in the spirit of Resolution 26 of the Central Committee. In which, tourism and marine economy associated with sovereignty protection are identified as the main development axes.

Ly Son Special Economic Zone

To realize these goals, Quang Ngai will continue to propose to the Central Government to allow the application of specific policies for the special zone such as supporting public investment resources, tax and land incentives, attracting investment in high-end resort tourism, modern transport and technical infrastructure, logistics services and specific tourism support models... to help Ly Son develop quickly, sustainably and be worthy of being the economic and sea tourism center of the Central region and the whole country.

Currently, tourism is the spearhead economic sector of Ly Son special economic zone, attracting an average of 200,000 visitors each year. In the first 6 months of this year alone, the special economic zone welcomed nearly 82,000 visitors, an increase of 12.3% over the same period last year. Of which, 1,171 were international visitors.
