Worker transport vehicle collides with electric bicycle, killing couple on the spot

On the afternoon of June 22, in Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan, a traffic accident occurred between a passenger car carrying workers and an electric bicycle, causing a couple riding the electric bicycle to fall onto the road and die on the spot.

According to local police, the accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. the same day, at Km1+200 of DT 712 road through Nam Thanh quarter, Thuan Nam town, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan.

At this time, the car carrying workers with license plate 86B6-006.80 was traveling from Ta Cu mountain to La Gi town. When arriving at the above location, the car carrying workers collided with the electric bicycle of Mr. Nguyen Van Cang (60 years old) and Mrs. Vo Thi Yen (58 years old, both living in Thuan Nam town, Ham Thuan Nam district).

The collision caused Mr. Cang and Mrs. Yen to fall onto the road and die on the spot. It was raining at the time of the accident.

Upon receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department of Ham Thuan Nam District Police arrived at the scene to examine the scene and perform an autopsy to investigate the cause of the accident.
