Container truck tire exploded and caught fire on Trung Luong - My Thuan highway

The incident happened on the Trung Luong - My Thuan highway through Dong Thap province, the front wheel of a container truck exploded, then the vehicle caught fire.

On September 24, information from Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 7 (Traffic Police Department) said that they are coordinating with professional units to investigate the cause of the container truck fire on the Trung Luong - My Thuan Expressway.

Authorities actively fought and extinguished the fire in time.

Initial information, at about 6:20 a.m. the same day, a container truck was traveling on the highway from Trung Luong to My Thuan through My Loi commune ( Dong Thap province) when it suddenly caught fire.

Upon discovering the fire, the driver stopped the vehicle close to the right lane. Upon receiving the news, the working group of Highway 7 Traffic Control Patrol Team quickly arrived at the scene and coordinated to promptly extinguish the fire.

The front of the container truck was burned down.

The task force regulates and directs traffic to avoid congestion on the highway.

At the scene, the front of the container truck was burned to ashes, leaving only the metal frame. The initial cause was determined to be the front wheel of the container truck exploding and then catching fire.
