Ferrari has officially unveiled the Luce, the brand's first all-electric supercar . Notably, the car's design bears the strong imprint of Jony Ive, the renowned former design director of Apple. This project is a collaboration between Ive, Marc Newson, and Ferrari. The model introduces a completely new architecture while maintaining Ferrari's top-tier performance standards. Photo: Ferrari. |

Thanks to the structural advantages of electric vehicles, the Luce boasts four doors and five seats. This is the first commercially available five-seater Ferrari in history. The car features a large glass roof that extends down the body. Aerodynamic spoilers are designed as floating elements at both the front and rear. The car uses the largest staggered wheel size ever offered by the company, with 23-inch front and 24-inch rear wheels. Photo: HUGE*. |

Inside the cabin, the car's interface focuses on minimalism and physical controls. The dashboard combines mechanical buttons, a handcrafted rotary knob, and a digital display developed by Samsung. The instrument cluster is mounted directly to the steering column for optimal viewing angle. Notably, the physical key is made of Gorilla Glass and integrates a battery-saving E Ink display. When the key is inserted into the tray, the car starts and unlocks the gear shift. The car's user interface also evokes many similarities to iOS. The sans-serif font, flat icons, and rounded corners are very familiar to Apple users. Photo: Ferrari. |

The Luce features an 800V electrical system with four independent electric motors, one for each wheel. This technology is inherited from the F80 supercar and Ferrari's racing programs. The system produces a total power output of up to 1,050 horsepower. This 2.26-ton vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of over 310 km/h. The 122 kWh battery pack under the floor allows the vehicle to travel more than 530 km on a single charge, supporting 350 kW fast charging. Photo: HUGE*. |

The Luce's sound system is a unique highlight, based on real mechanical vibrations rather than simulated engine sounds. An accelerometer mounted on the axle captures vibrations from moving parts. This signal is then filtered and amplified through a speaker system, operating similarly to the mechanism of an electric guitar. Photo: Ferrari. |

The vehicle's engineering also optimizes aerodynamics and thermal management. An active grille system closes to reduce drag when cooling isn't needed. The active suspension system can lower the front of the car by 10 mm at high speeds. The chassis combines hollow cast aluminum and extruded aluminum, increasing the torsional rigidity of the battery casing by 35% compared to previous four-door models. Photo: HUGE*. |
