A sleeper bus carrying 34 passengers caught fire on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway.

At around 5:00 p.m. on August 20, a sleeper bus with license plate 51B-189.99 was traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway when it suddenly caught fire.
According to initial information, at that time, this passenger bus was carrying 34 passengers, traveling from Phan Thiet City to Ho Chi Minh City.

When the car reached Km5 (through Ham Cuong commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province) on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway, it caught fire.

Discovering the incident, the driver immediately put the car into the emergency lane and shouted for passengers to escape from the car.
The fire then quickly broke out, engulfing the entire vehicle. Fortunately, all passengers got off the vehicle safely.
Firefighters quickly arrived. However, the fire had burned the entire car to the frame.

By 6:30 p.m. the same day, traffic in the area was basically clear, and traffic police were still on duty at the scene to regulate traffic.
