Accordingly, Dat Viet Tissue Culture Company Limited was established in 2013, headquartered in Dong Nai province, mainly producing tissue cultured plant varieties (agricultural and fruit trees, medicinal plants, perennial plants, etc.). Currently, the production output is about 40 million seedlings/year. In early 2025, the company will open a branch to produce tissue cultured plant varieties in Lang Son province, expected to produce 1-2 million seedlings/year.
Previously, in 2023 - 2024, the company had implemented a pilot ginger planting model in the districts: Dinh Lap, Chi Lang, Cao Loc (old), the results showed that the plants grew and developed well, with high productivity. Therefore, the company representative hoped that the Department of Agriculture and Environment would consider supporting the implementation of the project to cooperate with people to grow high-yield ginger under the canopy of trees in the province, with the goal of building and developing the brand of ginger products for export to foreign markets...
Through the company's report and the opinions of the units and specialized departments under the department, the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment assessed that this is a model with good development direction. He suggested that the company proactively select and build a model to connect with people in the province, evaluate the implementation effectiveness, thereby creating a basis for State agencies to support the development and replication of the model...
